Restarting the Journey

After a couple years of injuries and health issues, that have kept me from a consistent running routine, I am finally ready to try again.

Running is where I get to clear my mind of all the hustle and bustle of the real world. My mind drifts through all different kinds of topics without me actually having to think about them. It keeps me sane.

To keep from going out too fast too soon I am starting slowly. Thirty minutes, 3 days a week, which includes a 5 minute warm up and cool down.

I have 1 run completed already and it felt amazing!

Let the Goals Commence

The week after Christmas is a time of reflection. It becomes a time of making goals for the New Year, clearing out clutter in  both your mind and physical space. With a renewed motivation to succeed at everything that failed the previous year. If only that motivation would stay indefinitely and not wane in a couple months, you know you could be truly successful. So how can you keep that motivation going after the initial honeymoon period is over?
